With a frosted, mouth-blown glass shade just like the ‘70s original, Gubi recasts Obello as a go-anywhere portable powered by a dimmable LED light source. Moving easily between inside and out, the table lamp creates a cozy atmosphere as the sun starts to set and, with up to 40 hours of light per charge, will last well into the night. Designer Bill Curry’s creation with its iconic mushroom shape was derived from inspirations as diverse as the atomic age, space race and the emerging pop culture of his native Los Angeles.
